I can remember having Daffs on New Years Day, but never a Day Lily!

Lol....I dont understand it Meanie...Thats the Compost bin behind, so the soil is good and its a very sheltered spot, maybe thats the reason?...:>)

I still have buds too Motinot but they're not opening and noticed a bud emerging on one of my new ones today, 'Sanford Star Search',think they're in for a shock this week its turning colder here.

Today has been the coldest here...really bad.....I lifted the last of my Dahlias yesterday and they were fine...I havent forgotten the Heuchera, Simbad...will check for roots soon...:>)

Crikey you can't believe it can you lifting dahlias at this time of year, my salvia patens that would normally have died back is still in full leaf too.

I decided to lift a few Salvia G 'black&blue'...Im a little afraid of losing them...

I don't normally bother with the patens as its so easy from seed and flowers first year, some years it has resprouted. I've seen pictures of the black and blue, on my list for this year, its lovely I wouldn't want to loose that either:-)
