It's amazing how leaves have hung on this year plus I can even see new leaves beginning to uncurl the seasons have merged into one ......

Mad, isn't it? Mine thinks it's an evergreen as well (even got a couple of flowers on it). I daren't cut it back now in case we get some really cold weather.

All the leaves fell off of mine in the last strong winds. I was going to cut it back when I got the chance. Is that a bad idea?

No Gee Not a bad Idea at all.....The only reason I didnt was because it was still flowering, otherwise the winds do just snap the stems anyway....;.

Milky, is this a yellow flower ?

No Junna....Its very deep purple.....
