Sunflower.

One very brave plant, I took this pic 10mins ago, never had a sunflower bloom in January before, its not a cheat, as you can see its near the fence in my garden..

amazing,lincslass..my Rudbeckia has two new flowers on too ..maybe after this weekends frosts,that might be it ,...but it's been good while it lasted .:o)

I've had a few rudbeckia flowers very late in November and even December, but never January!

I can't believe everything in the garden is still growing instead of having the winter sleep.I hope it doesn't hit us hard in March as that can be a bad month here .

I'm afraid that we'll eventually pay for this mild winter in February or March as well......only 20 degrees last night and I forgot to take the cyclamens in. I hope they recover.

We are paying for it today, white over this morning, waterbutts and birdbaths frozen solid all day poor little sunflower was very droopy...

There's no end to the flowers unusually in bloom at the moment perhaps we should have started a list somewhere ... this is one very brave flower .........
