Cupressus macrocarpa 'Goldcrest' Pixie, some seemed to do badly between last years cold and the spring scorcher, I saw a lot with browning. Glad yours is healthy, I would just be a bit wary of moving it as it's not 100% guaranteed to like another spot especially after a transplant.
But that doesn't stop me winging it and hoping for the best with stuff :)

We are having to look into having a conifer removed for our Turkish neighbour. It is over 40 ft tall situated 5ft from the house and leaning in the direction of the house. With our resent 91mph winds it has become a problem!!!!! I think you have a long way to go to catch up with it tho'. She remembers being taller than the tree when she first bought the house. :o))))) We have just lost a much loved conifer in the high winds. It is too dark a corner between the wall and some Rhoddies to replant anything under 10ft tall......so it will have to become a fern corner I think.
Yours look lovely Paul.

planted three small Goldcrest when they were a foot or so high, one keeled over at 5 foot ( drat ) but the other two are doing well at seven foot approx. Magic colour against the the larger darker conifers.

I've been browsing through your photos and your garden is really looking (lived in) now. Should be really colourful this year.

That's great Michaella - wasn't sure on the growth rate - they're like really fluffy ones :D nice when the rain lands on them in summer :)))))))))))
Thanks Surreylad :)))))))))))))))
Yes they're lovely Pixi - just in the sun anywhere :)))))))) I have a willow next to the fluffy one , can just see it :))))))))))))
Thanks Sevenside yes they're not too forgiving with moves - I lost the cupresses goldcrest doing it , other conifers were okay just those are a bit grumpy being moved . This was £20 and thpught bit pricey but what the heck - grown very well about half ft taller and wider than last year now :))))))))))))
Thanks Linda :)))))))))))))- my neighbour has had words with her neighbour and they're to be polite complete self centred idiots - she asked could they have a look at the 40ft conifer as it has pushed her fence in she simply said - no. The other worrying thing is the roots can go through the foundations and sewer system, seen it on "help my house is falling down"
Thanks Bampy - yes they tend to really follow the sun :D some I have seen touch the ground they have leant so far - beauties though :))))))))))))))))))))
