So damned difficult to find for sale here, which is a shame as I like the look of this!

Meanie:

That's so strange! It's one of the easiest orchids to grow and bloom. I would never purchase one...as I can get them for free. They are so widely grown here. I've seen some gold ones a few blocks from me...I think I'll ask them to trade for my red-orange or purple.

I meant to send you and Alexandramou some seeds back in December. I have lots of seeds pods loaded with tiny dust-like seeds. I've never tried growing them from seed before...but I would guess you can get them to grow.

Not something that I'm ready to try yet!

This is a good page giving an overview of the process............

It appears to be too much work using this process. I'm going to put some seeds in a pot and put then out and see if it's an easy grow from seed. Epidendrum are super easy to grow, maybe it's easy from seed, also. I'll let you know.

I think that you have the climate to let nature take its course maybe.........

Meanie:

I see a lot of tiny plants at the bottom of my large plant...they could be from seeds, not sure, though.

You have a heated greenhouse, you should be able to grow anything. My tiny unheated greenhouse has no roof, anymore (it ripped to pieces last winter). lol!

No heated greenhouse here Delonix, and the conservatory is full!

When the house move finally goes through I'll have a cellar and may try some flasking then..........

You have a heated conservatory...which is even nicer than a greenhouse. I wish I had a sun room...I would have hundreds of plant in it.

This plant is pretty widely grown here. I don't know the name, though.

Certainly not what I would call Anigozanthos though?

It isn't! If I remember what it is, I'll pm you.
