Thanks Paul, I have three different Skimmias, one must be 5ft now, had it as a cutting from my neighbour likes our soil, MM has been the only slow one to get going though.

I like these too and keep looking at them at the garden centre. I picked one up to buy a couple of weeks ago and then changed my mind and bought the Nandina Gulfstream - wish I had bought both now :)

Gee I have a Nandina not the Gulfstream though it was on the verge of dieing last year, obviously in the wrong place, OH potted it, gave it some TLC, and it has fully recovered...phew!! I would pop back and buy the MM if I were you lol
Amy thanks, some plants need time dont they?
TT thanks....Paul it will grow to 8 ft the neighbours has, and it is one of their babies...

Unfortunately its not near enough to pop to, DD2 :(
I have two other Nandina plants, one called Richmond which is now in a pot because it was quite rampant (it looks rather sad now so I will put it back in the garden when I have made deeper flower beds). The other I can't remember the name of but it is quite a small, compact plant.
