Just found this lurking in a sub-sub-sub-folder, thought it might amuse. Did it during a holiday in Cornwall to celebrate my 50th.

price of gold has gone way up as our 'governments' continue to devalue our 'currency' and the impending crash. You would be worth much much more now

I suppose I could find out th eprice of gold then, and use that to work out how much I weighed then, and use that to work out how much I'd be "worth" now.
grins, but who'd buy?
Come to think of it, this sort of thing could be done onoine ... rather than actually being weighed at the museum, one could just email one's weight, pay the fee, and get a certificate. Niche in the mrket there for someone ...
found a "gold price calculator" on http://goldpricenetwork.com/goldprice/uk/
You need to scroll down a bit, but you can put in a month and yaer and it'll give you the value of gold per ounce.
Now I have to divide my "worth" by that, to find out what I weighed .... watch this apce, but don't hold your breath!

gold was worth £200 per ounce in that month in that year, which is a nice round figure to work with. I've lost the calcuator on the pc, so trying to work it out with pencil and paper ...
