NO! Sorry! I forgot to mention they are the covers over our Fig trees! I covered them this year as the past couple of years all the fruit has been killed by late spring frosts!
These photos of the allotment are only in my photos because I couldn't get them to upload into a blog I'm making of the allotments under snow.
The same happened a few weeks ago when I was writing another blog on the allotment. I couldn't upload photos direct to the blog & so I uploaded them to my photos & then added them to my blog!

Don't hold it too long, you'll suffocate! I did a little more on it yesterday but I don't feel "inspired" to continue with it. Nevertheless, I promise to finish it, hopefully, on Sunday.

lol one can either blog about gardens, or get out and actually do some gardening: I've been doing the former - or, at least, reading other people's blogs.
lol Sunday - which one? but no rush, as and when you can and feel ready to - we'll have to wait till it's cooked to the chef's specifications

In the end I finished it Saturday night & published it before going to bed. We had been up since 5am - like every Saturday! It was 10.30 pm by the time we got to bed & we fell asleep quickly! My poor wife had fallen asleep on the sofa while I was finishing my blog. She'd had a very hectic day at the supermarket, not even a few inches of snow kept people away - just the opposite it seems!

shee, always up that early on Saturday?? usually an allotment day? no wonder you're both flaked out by ten!
lol yes, a little bit of snow (and we have to call this "a little", compared with what others have got) and people will rush out and panic-buy in case they get snowed in!

We have to get up at 5am so she has time to have breakfast & get ready to go to work. She starts at 6.30am as the supermarket is open 24h/day. We have almost 1/2h walk to get there.
When I can I do go down to the allotment early on a Saturday morning & spend up to 6 hours there. Even then it's never enough! I reckon I could put in a full 40 hour week & still would need to do overtime!
If it seems like I might be complaining it's because of the lack of time - never the work!
