I did see it!
Ten of my eleven flowering sized pseudobulbs have two shoots, although some of them may be just foliage shoots - either way, they'll be new bulbs for next year.

Yes, it's almost as easy as Epidendrum, which blooms all year here.

Epidendrum orchids bloom heavily all year here in San Diego...they're most prolific in winter.
They grow exceptionally well in the ground here (especially for an epiphytic orchid).
