As I understand it, there's similar cliffs on the French side, the Channel broke thoough a continuous stretch, but I've never heard of the White Cliffs of - Calais? wherver their end of the the stretch is.

I brought a couple of large-ish lumps home with me, can't remember what I thought I was going to use them for. If I ever find them again, it might jog my memory.
