This one is one of the very early kinds. It has hardly any foliage at all, mainly just very 'blanched' and quite long stems and the gorgeous purple flowers. I think the bigger ones tend to be later, you know, like the lovely blue and white stripey ones you have.. Mine are just about to open, but not quite there yet. And of course, we haven't had your winter this year thank goodness!
