They don't seem to get too many, it's probably good population control. I do object when they start chasing the baby rabbits that come to my garden though, and I run around out there flapping my arms to scare them away (at least it amuses the neighbours I'm sure!).

Sparrowhawks would be our equivalent but not common. Please get someone to photograph you in mid flap, that would be gold!
