Oh Moti, sorry to hear yours had a hard time last year.. I thought this winter would be a mild one but the weather suddenly changed. Terrible terrible terrible!!!

Meanie, we've consulted this matter with our friend, Will Giles of "The Exotic Garden." He said we should cut it where it squashed/twisted; it will grow again. And, if we stick the (rather big ;-) cutting in the ground, it will root. Good news! Every cloud has a silver lining :-)

Wow! I've never seen a cold-damaged Yucca before.

They are a really tough plant. It should come back strong in spring. Yes, luckily they are very easy to grow from big staked cuttings.

This particular one was the tallest of all and it had been kind of all right a couple days before this photo was taken.

Anyway, no worries any more. I'm relieved to learn that everything will be okay :-)
