this is the shrub now, 2 years old right by my Choisya.. plenty of buds :-)

Thanks katarina,i give it a mulch of ericaceous compost in spring and water well in hot summer days, in winter try to give it a bit of shelter against freezing wind, other than that they care for themselves..

Thank you very much for information. I also read, that camellia needs a lot of mulch. As I said, I bought mine just this month, but I would like to re-plant it in either bigger pot or outside i April. Can I do it when the camellia is blooming?

yes a good mulch is what they like, you can re-pot or plant then but you may find it's not happy for a whilebut better then than later if it is pot bound, if planting out give it a really good watering....
