Sandra - I was laying off of Brugs because of winter space, but this week I came across a B.sanguinea cheap which I had to buy (it's one that I really did want). It blooms in the cooler autumn weather so it could have been that maybe..........

That's great! I know Brugmansia loves the winter time. They do so well during the cooler nights of fall - early spring.

i went to amsterdam years ago in november..the winter had already set in but there were brugmansias flowering in their gardens. i was amazed.

That is very surprising! I've been to Amersterdam, never saw any Brugmansias.

i just read our local news letter and 1 brugmansia flower was spotted in a garden here in december..its been soo mild here this winter.
