Lovely...it was a perfect day for sitting out Barbara, but I did not sit down for one minute but tidied up the garden and carried on where I left off a few weeks by separating the soil from the turfs I lifted up a while ago. All done now, I can sit down tomorrow unless I end up at Morrisons..then you know what that mean, don't you.. :))) I hope you have had a good day!

Looking lovely...like mother like daughter - not a thing out of place :)

I didn't sit down either Michaella, was sorting out/digging/weeding the raised vegetable border which I am turning into a flower bed - any excuse to be able to buy and grow some more flowers eh. Had a brilliant day here, lots of sunshine a little cooler than the previous day. Hope you didn't spend too much at Morrisons. lol.

Scottish - I am no where near as neat and tidy as Karen Sue, but I would add I only take pictures when it is neat and tidy. lol. Hope you are getting some of this sunshine we are enjoying down here.

The weather up here has been great Oliveoil. I've been on annual leave since Wednesday - so been making the most of it. Ive started to tidy up the borders and am currently putting in a new border on the sunny side of the garden - around 20m long. I keep changing my mind what I want to do though so it's taking me longer than I had hoped. Long may this weather continue - looking forward to seeing more of your garden :)

I love the layout of your garden ... and the backdrop of tall trees ... a much better view than rooftops! ... :o)

Yes I know what you mean, but it does have a downside to it, leaves and light. We are never completely happy are we. I love trees though so I can cope with anything they throw at me and oh boy they certainly do at autumn time.

Yes, I can imagine the amount of leaves ... I moan about the Beech leaves from a neighbour's tree ... they always fall into our garden ... :o((

Thanks Barbara, we're both very well and the grandaughter is alot better since she's been on this special diet. ( I think I told you about it.) Apart from today, the weather here has been awful, wet and very cold. We have the north easterlies back again, but the milder weather is supposed to be coming back at the weekend.

It has been a lovely day here, lots of sunshine but quite a chilly breeze, glad you are ok and that your grandaughter is on the mend. Look after yourselves, lots of time to spend in the garden soon. :O) B
