colour at last

i honestly dont think they will show this spring ,tt i cant understand it ,maybe i planted them too late i think it was oct/nov time

Did you plant them the right depth, Pete ?
Too deep ?
or too shallow and bulbs stolen by mice ?

i planted them 3 "s deep covered them in fine soil then placed the turf back on them ,i thought it was ok ,strange thing is the only 1 to show appeared around the side where i cut the turf through the crack so to speak ?

Very pretty Pete. I planted 40 crocus in the back lawn a couple of years back, 20 yellow and 20 purple. Last spring I had about twenty in total (about 10 of each colour). This spring, I've got 6 yellow and 1 purple. Dunno what's happened to them although I've noticed there's plenty of leaves but not many flowers. :o)

Do you have Squirrel they will take the lot,I have so many of darn things have almost give up trying to grow Crocus
