I thought Christmas rose and lenten rose were the same plant

Hi Sheila....I may be wrong...but I 'think' the Christmas Rose is Helleborus Niger, which often flowers earlier than Helleborus Orientalis or Hybrids..the 'Lenten' Rose - (flowering during Lent, which is now of course). My Niger flowered in November and again now. First time it's ever done that! :))

Oh Karen, now I'm totally confused (it doesn't take much! lol)
