Katarina, it was here when i moved in 7 years ago and it was huge then so i would say 15'ish years old judging by the trunk and height...

I have never seen Camellias as trees here. It has to do with longstanding general ignorance about camellias here. In Slovak countryside the main flowers for decades were roses, hortensia and Hibiscus. Do you think Camellia Brushfield Yellow can become a bigger shrub in the garden with mild climate?

it may get a little bigger in warmer climate, but i don't think it's a big growing plant...
