Hosta Blue Mouse Ears

Blue Mouse Ears was the original parent of all the mouse ear family of hostas and is a lovely blue/green miniature hosta. Height 18cm (7") high with Pale Lavender flowers.

The blue colour is the result of a wax coating on the leaf and in order to keep the blue, they have to be kept in shade away from the sun, otherwise the wax melts and the leaf is green. All blue hostas require shaded conditions for best results. Hope that helps.
