I wonder why that is Hywel...I know they must not be allowed to dry out....

They arrived 'in the green' as they say. They were lovely - about 150 of them. I divided them into a few clumps, and planted them immediately. Last summer was very wet, so they didn't dry out at all. Maybe I should feed them with a dressing of bonemeal or something .... although they are in new topsoil, which had plenty of manure dug into it. Maybe it's too rich lol - but the single flowering type do well in it. Or maybe they need time to adjust.
Anyway I'm pleased you've got flowers on yours :o)

Ah thank you Hywel....You seem to have done everything right, i dont know enough about snowdrops to really give an opinion....I really hope they come good for you next season...:>)

I am pleased for you. I planted some last year, but not one has flowered. Only leaves :o(
