Oh wow! That doesn't happen often! Well worth celebrating!

Good news! I got a brown envelop last year and had to read the letter about five times to believe they were giving me money and not the other way round. Enjoy!

Sticki, this will never happen in Slovakia. If you do not return even euro in a cerait term, you can lose even a flat, weather it is your or their mistake. It was said the recquisition must resemble the real value, but laws did not change.

How very nice, Pimp - were you expecting it or was it a surprise? Where are we going, then?

Good luck with that Michaella!
Well done 7, sort of getting a PC for free.
Out of the blue Gattina...I did say "Crepi il lupo" though the other day...Not the lottery but it will do ;0))

something the wolf???
10 Mar, 2012
Yes Sticki better wait for Gattina to translate ... but if an Italian says "In bocca al' lupo." you reply "Crepi il lupo" and get lots of luck!

Good for you Pimp. What time's the party?? lol
Oh, there is no party - he spent it on a new computer!!
10 Mar, 2012
Lol...that was 7 with the Pc Sheilar... Mine is already spent on utillity bills :-(

Ooops Pimp - another 'senior moment' eh? lol

Well, obviously the wolf's just warming up and getting into his stride!
I can't remember what it was I wished Pimp luck for, but in Italian you say "In bocca al' lupo", to which the right response is "Crepi il lupo" (NEVER "thank you") Roughly translated it says "In the mouth of the wolf" followed by "May the wolf Die". Perhaps if everyone tries it, we'll clear the national debt, save the Euro and have a big party with the change.

Nice thought gattina!
