Is it possible for a seed to be sown the wrong way???
All of the five seeds I sowed germinated BUT the small one to the left was not showing leaves. When I put them in their own little pots I turned this one down side up....two days later leaves appeared.

Very nice Erythrina seedling! Which species is it?
I've never seen a seedling tree before. Here they're usually sold as trees at the nursery. Very interesting.

The stem will always grow upwards, whatever way you plant the seeds :o)

If I knew I would have saved you one or two....there is my bad habit....I sow all the seeds at once.

Bad habit, or is it greed!!!!

Probably not greed....I give a lot of my seedlings away. Maybe greed at first then generosity kicks in???

Alexandaramou:
I'll see if I can find a large E. indica blooming here in San Diego. All the Coral trees are still in full bloom...the only problem there's so many darned species blooming now.
