Thank Delonix, I might post a pic today of "them" almost fully open. :o)
28C in the sun last Thursday!!! It's been gorgeous. Finally...winter has gone!!!

I'll look for you new pics. :>)
It's much warmer there than here. It's been warm all week here...then the huge, fierce, cold, biggest storm of the season came in this weekend, with very strong winds. The high here was an extremely rare, very cold 55ºF/13ºC. (that's our normal low) today. The snow level came down to 2000ft/610m., which is very low even for the beginning of January. Winter is going out like a lion!
It'll be back up to 75ºF/24ºC by Tuesday, though.

Oh well, 13C is not "really" that cold you know. Only have a few more days...be patient. ;o)))))
Brrr....can't even think about snow.
I don't want any more storms until November now!
Sun, sun and more sun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When does your rainy/wet season officially end? The official end of San Diego's rainy/wet season is the end of March.
It's still very cold and rainy for this time of year, today. However, with that being said: it'll be up to about 80ºF/27ºC. by Thursday. The weather is so topsy turvy!
It snowed in some of the lower foothill communities (down to 1,800ft/550m, which hasn't happened in 5 years).

Officially end???? The weather has a mind of its own.
Most years end of March. Sometimes we get a rain spell in April. That is the worst....sand from Africa...terrible, paints everything red.
It's still gorgeous here...my face and arms are starting to tan...hurray....
No snow...sun, sun, sun!!! It seems that winter has hit CA now (for a few days).

Very true, the weather has a mind of its own. We've been so very lucky this year year, though. Lot of summer-like weather. I'm so glad we haven't had a bad dust/sand storm here in more than few years. During a very strong Santa Ana Wind event, we can get sand and dust from the deserts and mountains from the east. One of the worst happened in January of 2003...it was HORRIBLE!!!!

We get sand from Africa every year, it's just the way it is. ;o)
Lucky you, this year was really cold for us. Brrr....not thinking about it anymore....spring, that smell in the air, sun, summer, beach...ah.

I'm so glad you're getting warmer weather! It's horrible to have a cold winter, especially when you're used to warmer weather during winter (like me).
The Inland Empire east of Los Angeles has very bad sand storms many times every year. I have family living there...they always complain about the sand getting into everything. The Santa Ana Winds in the Inland Empire are fierce...many times a year blowing at about hurricane-force. To think, I almost moved there, EWW!! It's also extremely hot in summer.
