Bumble Bee enjoying the heather bed

This is one of several Bumble bees crawling all over the heather. I had not noticed before but they do seem to be choosing the white over the pink heathers.

It is very interesting to see how Monets colour perceptions changed after his eye op. From what is said about the bees sight I would have thought they might prefer the pink because there is a blue tinge to it. We live and learn and thank you for pointing me to that website. Thank you lilcrawford.
