I often wondered how they manage to cling on to flower heads barely able to take their own weight. Check out the pincers at the end of his legs.

I saw my first one earlier in the week and then the sun came out yesterday so I ventured out to a bit of weeding, the Bumble bees were crawling all over the heathers.
