Thanks 7. Funny though the setting on my camera for stars gives a 15 second exposure minimum. I used the ordinary night exposure. Wish I could have got more of the sky in, but far too much light.

Hmm, that could be difficult but experiment. The pics on APOD can be incredible as they have early evening light with the milky way showing. High end equipment and expertise. Check them out in the archives...
