I was looking for a picture of Exochorda in my files and came across this. It was my favourite statue in my college gardens.
I call it A Boy and His Cat.

It was Capel Manor College in Enfield.

Thanks Kasy . . . well, I've been there a couple of times, but don't remember seeing this little statue. Mind you, the gardens are so vast, I probably missed other things too. :))

Sheila it is a good day out there really:) I remember discovering a lovely corner with more statues and camellias on my 2nd year there:)
This one is behind the Carp Pond, closer to the path with the original ha-ha.
oh, I miss those gardens a lot. Spend so many lunchtimes taking pictures there:)

Very nice piece. Seems like those gardens were real artistic works. As in a real garden you must have lot of places to discover.

Katarina - the gardens there were designed by the former studenst of garden design courses. And every year there is a new garden - very often one from Chelsea Flower Show.
