BBQ means pork that is cook by using a charcoal , picnic for short, I can see they are so happy in get together, they are also missing you and your family a lot , I'm sure they always wishes to take your vacation here, very lovely people, hope to meet them also!!

This was taken in Samar. Yes all my sister in laws family. Her dad...who died shortly after we came back to Scotland from our visit...had 3 wife's and around 28 children!!!
Yes they are all her family. I think most of the village is related from what I can gather. It is a very small fishing village. The boat belongs to her Uncle Danny.

How lovely to be able to sample the real Samar. Tourists don't get this sort of opportunity.

No they don't. It was the most amazing experience S. Living in such a poor village opened my eyes! The water pump was in the middle of the village. Everyday, Angot, a boy of 11 went and collected our water. The villagers traded food stuff, dried their rice in the streets. Amazing opportunity!!!

They are rich beyond our wildest dreams if we could but see it. They really know the meaning of "We are all in it together". It gladdens my heart to see this as I wonder where did we go so far wrong.
