Annual Baby's Breath - Gypsophila elegans

Annual Baby's Breath - Gypsophila elegans

These are quite tall, about 2', and grow like buttercups. I think the shorter ones are allysum, although they are taller than the variety that I usually grow.

Are the taller ones gypsophila?

Yes the taller ones are gyp... looks wonderful... i plant gyp every year...have you tried limonium yet? it is gorgeous, fine, pale mauvey white and airy looking...lovely in a dried bouquet or in a vase with fresh flowers... it is so tough it is amazing...grows quite happily in my doyourownthing bed. So it must be hardy!! The best reason to plant allysum is the smell...sweeeeet. I have some that came up from last years seed...
