Its first bloom after 4 years. I noticed flower buds already in February, but they opened just now :)

Greenthumb: :) Actually it is interesting with this Viburnum. In all books it is written V. bodnatensae blooms from December till April. Seems this Viburnum is independent from opinion of experts, lol.

A lot of plants don't consider expert opinion haha. Especially winter blooming plants. That is very pretty, can never have too many viburnums!

Rkwright, why canĀ“t you have too many viburnums? I think they are frost tolerant. Surreylad, looking forward to see yours blooming :) So this is the second plant we have common in gardens :) :)

I just like viburnums :). Nice foliage, flowers at different times of the year, fragrance, attractive berries, wildlife. That is a nice one, I'd like to have one that blooms so early.
