Banded Jasper

Very pretty, never seen those here.
I find stones and rocks fascinating.

I do too. These were really nice, such fluid markings and rich color.

I had a stone polisher once, it tumbled the stones constantly and they came out beautifully smooth and shiny.

they look like they have been decorated for easter..

i cant find all the bits to mine, will have to look again, got it from croyde bay a long time ago

I never got one but always wanted one. These would polish up nice, well little versions anyway.

People in these parts gather many kinds of stones, as there is so much around. I found some of my own, but no banded jasper. I got a large piece of petrified wood. Gave me trouble at security at the airport. lol.

It still had enough organic matter in it to come up as a red flag on the search monitor. They had to search the bag because of it.
