Lovely stones in this high Mojave desert. Here a collection of banded jasper and the street corner in the little La Verkin Utah, US. What a lovely little rural town, where me parents live now. Found on a walk, more to come.

I do too. These were really nice, such fluid markings and rich color.

I had a stone polisher once, it tumbled the stones constantly and they came out beautifully smooth and shiny.

I never got one but always wanted one. These would polish up nice, well little versions anyway.
Thank you Sandra.

People in these parts gather many kinds of stones, as there is so much around. I found some of my own, but no banded jasper. I got a large piece of petrified wood. Gave me trouble at security at the airport. lol.

It still had enough organic matter in it to come up as a red flag on the search monitor. They had to search the bag because of it.
