Pomegranite and Almonds

Pomegranite and Almonds

Pomegranites hung for the birds, mostly picked clean by this time of year. Here there also stood an almond, a few grey shells still clinging to the tree. More fruit and nut left for the birds. Some of the lots have fallen into disrepair, age starting to show around the edges. The boom time here was in the late 19th century.

There were many birds, just warm enough here that this starts some of the winter grounds moving south for migrators. I saw very interesting birds, like grackles. I've got I pic. Mostly there were morning doves, like the ring neck dove.
