no idea on that - the only other plant I know does that is cistus rock rose - but not that. just one of those things

If it is a passion flower stevie the terrible will know because he grows them.
Sadly some flowers do only come out for a day, it seems a shame.

It is certainly Passion flower, possibly Passiflora alata.

It is Passiflora alata Meanie..the wing stem passion flower. It is said to have one of the very best tasting fruits Junna. It is also called the Red Star flower.

The only thing that sways me away from P.alata as an id is the slightly washed out colour - if it's not the true species then it is almost certainly a P.alata hybrid.
For my sins, I'm trying to grow P.alata this year!
