when i saw that there was a 'ville de lyon' there my heart missed a beat, then I thought well if this is one of those ultra rare things that brings a rare smile to my face then....maybe better get a life ; ) (or try to before the apocolypse)

Ah, great to see you get some bargains from Morrisons...I have been known to pick up a plant or 20! Good luck with the display...especially knowing what a bargain they where.x

I am assuming that they are not making hardly any profit on these and maybe are a loss leader or are at cost. after a year they'll be £8s worth easy, makes sense

ha ha ha, I did the same last year, went out to morrisons and bought loads, they are all doing well except one, I think the cat over the road sat on it, grrrr..... good luck, they will all do well I am sure, I am a thrifty gardener too.

Kata, I had repotted them into larger pots, and kept them in the polytunnel. They put on a bit of leaf and all were doing well.
I put them out front in front of the trellises just this weekend : ) so hopefully they keep growing
