Yes, I quite like a bit of green on them Sheila...like the one to the left...but when it starts turning black I think it's gone a little too far! :))))

The pot on the right was much more expensive and it never gets any algae at all, not a spot of it...funny isn't it. I think the clay must be a lot denser. It's certainly a very heavy pot.

Lovely plant but I agree you need to clean the pot! Lol. All my back patio pots look like that at the moment, hence no photos ;o)

Its a constant battle with that horrid algae....but since you've ticked me off, I'll get right on to it tomorrow, first thing....even if it's a blizzard! :))))

That's why I prefer the glazed pots - easier to wash clean, I just use the watering can!!

Well, it never gets used on the bbq does it? We had it out once last year...once!! Brand new bbq sitting in our garage for over a year now with only one go on it! It'd better be better this year or that bbq will get it's p45!
