I have them in some light shade but they are plants of dampish meadows apparently. They do do better in bright light however.

I had a white double header this year.

Did you get a photo Jbardet? all my white ones were single. lovely non the less.

l love snakehead flowers, and have just a few that come out in the Springtime.
