As you can see from this photo, the flowers are quite small and 'waxy' looking.

lol...it reminds me very much of my sinocalycalycanthus raulstonii 'Hartlege Wine'. The colour is a little similar, but I'm not sure why...shape of the flower perhaps. Anyway, I am so pleased with it....so glad I found it.

Yes, beautiful colour and flower. We have had sunshine and showers (hail really) here today but I was determined to get out there. I tidied the top of the slope then cleaned the green off a lot of the back patio pots, mind you I had to take cover in the garage a few times Lol! The Ginger jar looks like new, I was cold but it was worth it. I look a real windswept mess now but whatever, bath in the morning and all will be ok. Off to watch telly with the boys xx
