That's wonderful. The collared doves in my garden seem addicted to the berries on my evergreen honeysuckle. They do contortions trying to reach them all !

Haha, oh i'd love to see that :) I've just bought a honeysuckle (deciduous). Theres not much in my garden in the way of food apart from the odd fruit leftovers, looking to change that though as progress pushes on! :)

The collared doves seem to be the only birds after those berries. Not eaten by the pigeons or blackbirds.
I can see the doves through the window from my desk, so they provide entertainment I hadn't expected when I planted the honeysuckle.
In the past I've had little experience of honeysuckles. But I bought several evergreen ones over past couple of years, so waiting to see how they develop ! Good luck with yours.

Thats great Smoo, I watch the doves through my windows but they have built their nest in the ivy so I cannot actually see it...

I know, this was the only time i could actually see her sitting down, most the time i can only just make out a grey blob! :D
