Yes it is Jacque - 'Pink Double Delight Purple Coneflower', as per the tag.
They'll look even better in a week or two :)

These are popular and I can see why! Lovely rich pink blooms!!

I didn't get them last year because they were so expensive. This year they aren't a bargain either, but I couldn't resist them. Hopefully they'll produce plenty of seeds so I can make a patch of them in the new flowerbed

Do they appear to be as study and strong as the originals, Rosalie? I hope they will come from seed...sometimes hybrids won't produce seed...and these days propagators splice genes in that make the plant sterile even if it does seed...so you have to go back and buy more plants produced only by them and paying them royalties.

Lori - the plant was a little wilty when I got it, and is new in the ground, but became 'solid' after one watering, if you know what I mean.
I've heard about those suicide genes, and hope this isn't the case. I'll know next year... it sure is pretty :)

I see you broke down and bought one too...lol, just like me and diohio.! It's just to pretty to resist, isn't it ! Like you said, I had to wait until the price was right too.
