Very nice looking daphne, I have heard of Blackthorn Nursery. Robin White wrote an excellent book on daphnes too, isn't that his nursery? Do you know if that is Daphne arbuscula or Daphne x susannae?

The pic is definitely a Blackthorn x when I bought it quite a few years ago it was Labeled with a growers No
I would have labeled it unfortunatly I have a lot of trouble with grey Squirrel removing them.I use mostly slate ones now but thats no help with that one.I do have D.Arbuscula growing in Troughs that is altogether more dwarf, to see that one you need to go back in my pictures to 16 April 2011 titled my beautiful mess.
I will try cutting of these two plus D. Collina.

Those are good ones to try cuttings from, the one in the picture will also root from layering and D. arbuscula probably would too. Hope the cuttings go well, can never have too many daphnes!
