i do like wisteria, had a nice one at my dads house in the park.... great for display... a good find.

Is it cold down your way? The buds on this even high up are fine...........

Meanie not only cold, but it is to stop the birds taking the buds to line their nests, like they did last year, left me one flower bud, only waited 10 years for it to flower!! so this time I am being horrid!!

do the birds or the squirrels take off the buds ~ there are masses of oak twigs ~ the very tip where the leaves are just starting ~ all over the garden? I dont remember it happening before?

Is this considered early for blooming Wisteria?

All the Wisteria has finished blooming here.

wow, lucky you!! briliant! You won't have to plant it and wait 10 years like me!...six years now and still not a single bloom!

Got to be a good twenty years old or more Karen.

The secret is to buy a Wisteria that is in flower, which I did, then the 10 years old one flowered (which the birds nicked) and the new one has not flowered since we bought it.....so!!!!
