To tell you the truth I can't remember exactly, I haven't grown them for a few years and my memory is not as good as it once was, As they say; old age doesn't come itself ;)
I seem to recall it was not quite as purple as in the picture a bit wishy washy I think.
I do recall it did'nt taste any different from a standard cauliflower
