They have a festival here, when people give each other friendship gifts of little bunches of lily-of-the-valley...

...perhaps that's the French way of getting rid of the excess? lol! :)))

Aw I love it..it was Mums favourite plant..there used to be a whole load of it under the old tree in our old garden..wonder if its still there?

Aw...and it smells divine - Brin de Muguet (think that's how you spell it) - lily of the valley day must be coming up soon...

The stuff I've got started under the wisteria but, left to its own devices, spread throughout the garden.

My old neighbour, Michel, had lots too - planted at the foot of a north facing wall...

...I'm sure it'll do well for you, Pixi..:)
