Don't you just love it, Meanie...head to head with some of the most pernicious plants known to man - (but look on the bright side - at least you don't have bindweed)...
Let the battle commence! And my money's on you!!!
Bon Courage! :)

Glad to see you getting stuck in ...

I have both Japanese knotweed and ground Elder in the new garden... :((( Masses of Primroses as well but they will be stopping. Soil looks very good.

Yikes, Pim...makes me glad I've only got bindweed...that's hard enough work :((
23 Apr, 2012
Nicely done, I'll have to get to grips with a couple of my borders that need attention.
23 Apr, 2012
I've been battling with the forget me nots ever since we moved here Meanie , they still come up every year , you only have to miss one and there's enough seed scattered to fill a football pitch :o(

Thanks all!
Good luck with your weeds Pim (you'll need it)!
Some Primrose can stay (but only the yellow ones), but I don't want 'em everywhere!
Really is the wrong time to be yanking FMN's out as I'm sure to be spreading seed everywhere................
23 Apr, 2012
you wont forget them that way!!!
23 Apr, 2012
I need to forget 'em!!!
23 Apr, 2012
i thought so!!!
they are all over this garden as well as everyone else's round here, i just leave some of them and pull the rest up, at least they are easy to pull up.

A good days work! can't get on my garden at the moment we've had so much rain its like a bog garden, must be the wettest 'drought' in history :-(
23 Apr, 2012
...same here, P...
I suppose I'll only know if it's good if I remember, Sticki!
...getting the name right would be a good start, tho'!...for 'binko' - read 'ginko' (Ooh, law, law - things are worse than I thought...!)....... :/
