Our Chiltern arch side gate viewed from the front lawn.

I recently completed this project which was brought about due to our Staffy wrecking the front lawn and plants. This keeps her in check now, but she can still see what's going on.
I want to nurture this gated corner area into a bloom of white roses. I intend to either build or buy a Chiltern arch to extend the arched gateway, then rearrange the rockery to plant white trailing roses and train them up around the arch. When Joy and I married we had some of our photo's taken standing under an arch of white roses and we thought it looked marvellous.
A link of Joy and I standing under the arch at Brampton Park sensory garden on our wedding day.

Hi Martyn, both photos gorgeous!
I think the green woodstain colour will go lovely with your planting plans!
Do you have a new picture to post with changes since April?

I looked at the rose arch photo. Beautiful.
That's good thinking to keep your Staffie contained behind the gate, without blocking the gate off completely.
