I'm having a go at growing some of these from seed they have all germinated but the books say they may die off before they get very big so I live with bated breath. Wish I had a green house as I'm using the summer house at the moment and its probably not the best place for them.

Lovely design and so neat. Your garden is same size as ours. Our garden had a makeover about 25 years ago soon after we moved in. My raised circle is a disgrace!! Wouldn't dare show it on GOY. I am a Penstemon fan too. Easy to strike cuttings, hardy and tolerant of being cut back too. I find narrow leaved ones do best with me.

I didn't think to take cuttings and I think I lost this one to Jak Frost. Not inviting him in next year he steals to many of my plants ungrateful man.
