One of the few (perhaps the only) evergreen azaleas that are hardy here. They can get nice fall color but this year they stayed close to green all year because of the warm temps.

I have a purple flowering variety like this one and both of them have done very well. I hope they do as well after a hard winter!

One of mine was destroyed by frost. Until now leaflees, just on two braches I noticed some life. What is the best to do for this plant after frost shock? I gave her good dose of fertiliser three weeks ago, water it regularly, but it seems as resistant to help :)

It's best to fertilize plants after any danger of frost has passed since new growth is more susceptible to frost damage. We are actually supposed to get a good freeze tonight and all of my flowering plants are protected with burlap or thin sheets. There's not much to do for frost after it has happened except for removing the new growth that has died. My golden rain trees have been frosted a couple times, it looks ugly for a little while but they recover fine. If the plant is not growing it probably doesn't need much water, roots grow down looking for water as the soil dries so it's good to let it dry a bit. Anyways, hope it bounces back! These frosts have been a pain, hopefully that will be behind us soon!
