also the tree I want a climbing vine on, have decided to use chicken wire around and away from the tree (not to damage the tree itself) and grow an annual climber, pyrimidal yews, Japanese Hycura Willows (2 - small) a transplanted Rose of Sharon...

Goodness sakes alive Marguerite! I just went through your photos...are these all your garden? Spectacular to say the least...and completely humbles my little-bitty, elementary garden! Keep up the wonderful work. Enjoy!

Thank you Marguerite, I love working in my simple little garden. This 4th of July weekend I spent entirely in the front and back gardens, always planting more...forever weeding. lol The weather was so perfect, in the 70's, no humidity which is key for me working outside. When it's humid I can't work in the yard hardly at all, I become a mess in 15 minutes! lol What is your summer like in Australia?
