My Dwarf Fijian Tree Fern is putting out more fronds, now. This is a very commonly grown little tree fern for shady spots. It's also very inexpensive...although, I've had this fern for around 7 years. Photo taken April 29, 2012.

Yes, it's a dwarf tree fern. The trunk can grow to 5ft/1.5m tall. The fronds grow to more than 2ft/61cm long.
The trunk on my fern is close to 1ft/30cm tall.
